Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
I am a guitarist and songwritter for Malachi, a Christian Rock band from the Gulfport area. I believe that we've been called to encourage and enlighten people outside the four walls of the church. We're like a Classic Rock band with a lyric content that exhibits what we truly believe. We've been together almost six years and we are about to complete our third CD of original music. Malachi has had the priviledge of being the first group to record in the new Hurricane Studio in Long Beach, Mississippi with Lee Peterzell engineering the session.
Instruments I Play:
Guitar, specifically a Taylor 514ce, PRS, a Hot Rodded Standard Strat, and my newest axe, a Taylor Solidbody Standard w/maple top!
I Am/Have Been A:
Studio Musician, Professional, Gigging Musician, Songwriter
Band(s) I Play In:
Malachi, Crosspoint Church "Omega" Praise Team
Musical Influences:
Eric Clapton, Andy Taylor, Phil Keagey, Warren DeMartini, Rick Emmett, Jeff Healey, BB King, and just about every popular '80's hard rock guitarist.

Upcoming Gigs:

6-28-2008: Last nights gig was exciting. We played for 20 or 30 pre-teen and teenagers. They were all jacked up on sugar and soda, screaming and dancing. I'm not sure who was more entertaining, us or them. Our first set was all original, and then we resorted to some up beat worship material. Chris Rice's Cartoon song was a big hit! On another note, I was asked by one of the owners of the new Shed on Hwy 53 if we'd be interested in a Sunday afternoon. I thought, at first, it was a trick question. I'll pass along any dates as I get them.
